The General Advisory Committee on Science (GACS) is issuing an open invitation to its 17th meeting, which will be held in London on Thursday 24 March.

GACS provides independent challenge and advice on how the Food Standards Agency collects and uses scientific evidence.

At the meeting the committee will be discussing:

  • FSA science activities and plans
  • Triennial Review of the SACs - Update and discussion on implementation of the recommendations
  • Report from the Working Group on Science Skills and Capabilities

Admission is free, but advance booking is necessary.
